Wow, what a fantastic walk, I generally keep away from Mam tor as it is so busy but it was forecast rain and thunder and was midweek so what the heck.!
Well the weather was amazing and the walk was brilliant. Starting at Bradwell and walking through Hope and upto Mam Tor and walking the Great Ridge. Reaching the highest point in the Peak District.
Lunch never tasted so good with the sun shining on a supposed rainy day overlooking Castleton and Winnats Pass.
It is a steep hill on the way up but the views are worth it and I will be doing a variation of this one again.
